To My Family And Friends

Thank you for your love, encouragement and support during this very challenging time in my life. Mercy and Grace came through when I was put in the pit of "hell".

Life is worth living because of you all.

To others who suffer too, and there are millions globally, trust and do your best one day at a time. There is always hope. Life does not give us all the answers. Many questions remain only questions. So live life as best as you can regardless.

Complete your journey and never give up. You are never alone.

Thanks Al and Valentine. Silence is golden. Until walking in another's shoes one has no idea how hard life can be at times for those facing real life challenges continuously. Thanks for being a friend Al. Have a happy week. Calling seeds of peace to grow between the opposing groups sharing this beautiful planet.

"Life has its up and downs joy and suffering".  I have found the "power of positive thinking", "psycho immunology" and prayer helpful when inflicted with physical and mental challenges.

Agree with Valentine "never give up" hope. Al

Book Review: Northern Ireland’s Ghosts, Living in Plain Sight

Even though much of the fighting in Northern Ireland has subsided, how has the lack of true reconciliation in the region influenced its society? This book review of Patrick Radden Keefe's "Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland" was originally published by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and is reposted with kind permission.

Prioritizing the Linkages Between Sustainable Development Goals to Eradicate Child Marriage

"Child marriage is both a cause and consequence of the other societal ills outlined in the UN's Sustainable Development Goals," writes human rights attorney Megan E. Corrado. This connection is especially stark in states like Afghanistan, which face instability due to conflict. What can governments and civil society do to help children in need? What are some grassroots approaches?
