#Cyberpeacefare #Peace #Morals #EverybodyAnybody/Somebody/Nobody ? #Cybersilence

"The great task of peace is to work morals into it. The only sort of peace that will be real is one in which everybody takes his share of responsibility. World organizations and conferences will be of no value unless there is improvement in the relation of men to men."

Sir Frederick Eggleston

(Peace is UpU&Me/UsAll.  So Few "take share of responsibility". "We are the world - Let's make it better"  cybersilence ?).

#Ideas #Henry Ward Beecher #cyberpeacefare

"Ideas are cosmopolitan. They have the liberty of the world. You have no right to take sword and cross the bounds of other nations, and enforce on them laws and institutions they are unwilling to receive.

But there is no limit to the sphere of ideas. Your thoughts  and feelings, the whole world lies open to them, and you have the right to send them into any latitude and…

"Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace.

The soul that knows it not, knows no release from little things

Knows not the livid loneliness of fear

Not mountain heights where bitter joy can hear

The sound of wings."   Amelia Earhart

Ill Winds: Saving Democracy from Russian Rage, Chinese Ambition, and American Complacency, with Larry Diamond

Larry Diamond's core argument is stark: the defense and advancement of democratic ideals relies on U.S. global leadership. If the U.S. does not reclaim its traditional place as the keystone of democracy, today's authoritarian trend could become a tsunami that could provide an opening for Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and their admirers to turn the 21st century into a dark time of surging authoritarianism.

What role will foreign policy play in the 2020 Election? Senior Fellow Nikolas Gvosdev looks at these questions and more as he and host Alex Woodson discuss a crowded 2020 Democratic primary field.
