ABRAHAM LINCOLN ONCE SAID: "DEMOCRACY IS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE." ACCORDING TO THE OXFORD DICTIONARY, DEMOCRACY MEANS: A SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT BY THE WHOLE POPULATION OF ALL THE ELIGIBLE MEMBERS OF A STATE, TYPICALLY THROUGH ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES.
