A Message from Carnegie Council

To all members of the Global Ethics Network:

It is with deep affection for this extraordinary community that Carnegie Council is today announcing the closure of the Global Ethics Network web platform.

This decision has not come lightly. In the past two years, the Council underwent a major strategic planning process, and we decided to end several of our longstanding programs to focus on the development of new initiatives.

Thank you—each and every one of you—for your participation. Together, we have created something special: a truly global online network of kind, thoughtful people committed to making this world better for everyone. We hope you will continue in this spirit.

In the meantime, Carnegie Council is still here, and we are still the same institution that worked with you to build this community. We hope you will stay with us as we take our next steps.

Please keep in touch and keep the conversation going:

Best wishes,

Carnegie Council

P.S. If you would like to save any of your posts for your records, please do so before the site goes offline in early 2020.

I am a true believer in Andrew Carnegie's Endowment Vision and Mission.  Will miss Global Ethics Network World-Wide Web presence and support for student participation and contests (they are future world leaders).  Appreciate need for continuous improvement and re-optimization of assets.  Should you want to complement your "think tank" world expert leadership with "bottom up-grass roots bloggers, your welcome to the #Cyberpeacefare Idea and all my intellectual property rights as a Christmas Gift 2019.  I have Parkinson's Disease and have difficulty continuing the blog. Thanks for supporting the blog.  Best Wishes for 2020 ! #CyberPeaceGadfly

So sorry about this. This is a great chance for people (researchers, students, artists) to present their work, thoughts, events. I think it is a bad decision to close such a beautiful and ethical pure project. There are numerous texts and photos of people, and that will be deleted like it wasn't be there. Anyway wish you all the best in your future work and great projects!
