Ambassador Marwan Noman was Yemen Ambassador to Japan from November 2007 until he resigned in March 2011 in protest of the killing of 58 peaceful protesters and over 800 injured by the government armed and security forces. He served as Yemen Ambassador to China from October 2004, before transferring to Japan. He was also Yemen Ambassador to Ethiopia from September 1997until June 2002. Noman joined Yemen’s Foreign Service in September 1973. He holds an LLB from Cairo University. He is retired, and currently works a freelance consultant.
Joining Global Ethics Network will help me in promoting transitional Justice and National Reconcilation in Yemen transition in the new state building.
